Blog#8 : What i've learned so far

  1.           What have you learned how to do since you started working on your senior project?  
  •      I have learned that in order to reach your goal to lose weight you need have a good nutrition plan, exercise and you need to stay motivated. I learned that a lot of people think just because you eat healthy you lose weight that is not entirally true because at first yea you do lose weight but after a while it just stop because you need to exercise for you to get results. you also need alot of motivation to be able to keep on going with your diet. 
2. Evidence
  •        i been drinking alot more water and eating healthier, and exercising.
3.  What research helped you to do this and how? 
  •      All my research that ive brought to research check has helped me from nutrition , to what types of exercises and also the p90x one to because it shows me what to be eating and doing.

Blog #7: independent component 1 plan approval

Q: Write a description of what you plan on doing for your independent study component.
A:  i am planning to go on a diet and work out myself, i was talking to malongo and she was telling me i could try p90x on myself for the experiment so maybe i could do that for my independment study also because its working out and tells you what to eat. i would learn what exercises to do and how it would feel like in order for me to help others.
Q: Describe in detail how you think your plan will meet the 30 hours work requirement.
A: I plan on meeting the 30 hours required by writting down everytime time i do the workouts and how long i do them for depending on how long the videos have them and i will get a journal to write down everything i eat, and weight myself to show the results also.
Q: How does your independent study component relate to your EQ?
A: This relates to my EQ because my EQ is what is the best way to maintain a healthy lifestyle and i would learn from the workouts and eating healthy that thoses woud be the best way to do so.

A: What is the best way to maintain a healthy life style with exercise?

A:
- Out of a set which would be the most effective way to complete the task
- Keeping oneself between the boundries.
- Living a leaner life and keeping a well balanced fitness routin.

Q:What are some possible answers to your EQ so far?
A:
- Strong support system
- Learning the muscle groups
- Well informed in nutritional facts
-Using proper tools and techniques

Q:What has been your most important source and why?  Be specific.  If it is a person, name them and what they do, if it is an article, book or video, name the title and author.
A:  Jose Esqueda, he is a homedepot employee who makes truck deliveries. he is my most important source because he is knowledgable in fitness and trainer specific muscle groups. He also knows alot about nutrition too.

Service learning interview questions(2nd interview)

1. Why did you choose to become a personal trainer?
i did so because it was a beneficial both ways, i got to train people, and i got a workout as well while getting paid.

2. How long have you been a personal trainer?
i started 2006 didnt really start getting clients till 2007.

3. What are some important factors that you have to know to be a good personal trainer?

they should always be able to communicate well with others, no communication, no client. 
also need to have patience because everybody is different they work on there own pace.


4. What did you do to become a personal trainer and how has it helped?

i taught myself, i learned by watching videos and reading books on the subject. It was hours and hours of research but i did it.


5. What do you think is the best way to keep your clients coming back?

Communicating with your clients, building trust will also bring them back and good results on their weight as well.
